Pictures of Duck lot
In trying to predict how the ocean views will look from first floor bedrooms from my lot in Caffey's Inlet, I took some shots from the surf and from neighboring houses.
The Lot
This is the lot, between the two houses. Note the house on the left (north) is your basic beach house; the one on the right (south), however, was built by people who seem a bit more conservative.
The vegetation in-between is the lot. I took a few pictures from the decks of the house on the left and the one to the left of it.
From the house on the left, I took these shots:
In both cases, I stepped to the back of the deck for the pictures; even from the back and through the railing, the views look fairly good.

From the surf level, I first took a shot kneeling at the edge of the water shooting up to the house next to the lot:

Either way, it looks fairly good.
